A little bit about me...

My name is Sarah; I am a Headteacher with a specialism in Early Years Education and have taught 3-6 year olds for over 14 years in a mainstream primary school (3-11yr).

In recent years I have acted as an Early Years Consultant which has involved visiting many schools and looking at their provision so that improvements can be made.

I value the importance of play based learning; I believe it is fundamental in growing and nurturing the development of children’s brains. The time spent in an Early Years setting is crucial for children; it sets out the future foundations for their pathways through life.

I value the input and involvement from parents, it is crucial that you feel supported through the education process, you are ultimately handing over your most precious belonging to a set of strangers.

I believe it is important that parents are involved with their child’s learning journey and that you feel comfortable to approach teachers and the school.
