I know that parents can sometimes find it difficult to talk to their friends about their own children because it can lead to comparative or competitive conversations. I will offer impartial, confidential and non judgemental advice with the aim that you feel at ease and pleased with any decisions that you make.

- I can offer impartial advice for parents who want to talk through their anxieties, I can offer reassurance
- I can provide you with a list of questions to ask schools (tailored to the needs of your child)
- I can provide you with an audit so that you know what to look for on a tour of the school
- I can visit the school with you
- I can support you with behaviour strategies if your child is reluctant to go to school
- I can attend parent’s evenings and support you with specific questions around your child’s progress and attainment
- I can explain what the Early Years curriculum should look like and the value of play based learning and the expectations by the end of the Reception year
- I can offer tutoring to pupils who are not on track to achieve their Early Learning Goal in reading and writing (non formal, play based learning)
- I can support you with school complaints and will draw your attention to the key areas of school policies.
